YES!! I love this series! But I think it's called Peachville High Demons. The series, I mean. The first book is Beautiful Demons.

By the way, @PashaRu and I don't read YA books because we're grownups. :shhh:

One of my favorite authors has to be Ellen Schreiber. She has a great voice that draws you into both her series (the Vampire Kisses series and Once in a Full Moon Series) and single novels (Teenage Mermaid and Comedy Girl). I have had the pleasure of going to a book signing of hers a few years back and listening to her speak was so down to earth and relatable.

I don't understand the cartoon! I am a writer and I only use words. Pictures are beneath me, you know!

I haven't read YA in a while, but a favorite is definitely Tamora Pierce. Her worlds of Emelan and Tortall are big, fascinating and fun. All but one of her main protagonists are female, there are POC, the worlds are rich and fun. All her stories are great and fun to read. :D

Cassandra Clare is definitely my favorite YA author. She hasn't written a book yet that I haven't immensely enjoyed. Her descriptions are just so vivid, and the Shadowhunters World that she innovated is full of endless avenues! I prefer The Infernal Devices to The Mortal Instruments, but both series are hilarious, heart-wrenching, and entertaining.  :angelic-flying:

My favorite YA author is definitely Christopher Pike. He wrote the Thirst series, which includes five books that leave you on edge. Yes, you could say that this is another vampire romance, which it does have, but it is also a thriller, a history, a religious, and a futuristic series. Once you read one, you can't not read the rest.

Charlie Fletcher has recently caught my attention with his Stoneheart trilogy. The author weaves historical facts and mythology along with some amazing vocabulary. The books have a Harry Potter world feel to them and it is not long before the reader is swept away into the modern fantasy world of London.

This series may have been written for young adults, but the storyline, characters, and life lessons are so creative that it draws readers.of young or "older" into them.

I think that i don't really have a favorite author, I haven't found one yet that really gets in what I totally like, but I really enjoy most of the young adult books/series and of course the author has a lot to do with that

My favorite author is Veronica Roth. I loved the Divergent series and I love how her books have the different types of personalities. It makes it interesting to everybody because they all want to decide which faction they would be in. People want to be defined and she had a very cool dystopian spin on it, which I loved. The book was also thrilling. Divergent gave me adrenaline throughout the whole book. The book makes you feel alive and like you can do anything. It had a great plot about how a girl, named Tris, will either stay in her humble and selfless faction with her family for the rest of her life, or will she leave everything behind, including herself. Divergent also embraces being different. It is a must read!

My favorite YA author would have to be John Green. Even before any of his books were popular, I already admired him.I enjoy reading his books and watching him because he has a way with connecting to teens. His stories inspire me.
