Oddly enough, while I love the Marvel movies, I would never read a comic book or other book upon which the movies are based. This book seems to me something I might actually read. I am really interested in the fact that "normal" things that teenagers struggle with — love, school, stress, family life — are touched upon in this book along with the fantastical supernatural powers. Thank you for your review, it was very informative!

I've read this book before and I would love to read it again. The thing I liked the most about this book was the writing style. The author has done a great job in writing this novel.

It's funny that you mention the X-men because Amazon says this series may join the Marvel universe; could you see that happening?

In any event, it really does sound like a good read. I LOVE books/stories about mutants and though I'm not keen on romance novels, Adam and Carly's relationship does sound interesting enough. Thanks for the great review!

I love sci-fi books and enjoy reading about different superheroes with various mutations, unnatural abilities, in this case the abilities that have been passed on from generation to generation. I hope the author gives some explanation in the book about their anscestors and what was special about them. i usually don't do cliffhangers but this book sounds exciting. Anyway I got the free copy and thanks for making it free.

I'm starting to feel like a YA book can't be written that doesn't involve superhumans or vampires. It looks like this one takes a different approach with realistic characters so I'll be happy to give a read.

It seems that the author has written an interesting book for young adults. Despite the fact that I may be curious to know whether the scientists will succeed in their murderous mission, I may pass this one.

Calix Leighreighn has done a great job in describing Adam.

After the reviewer put this book on the same level as X Men, I think this book is a no-brainer must read. I love to read the super hero genre mixed with a little sci fi. The book sounds like it is full of action and has some great character development. Thanks for the review!

I'm not much of a sci-fi fan but this book seem very promising. After all, in this busy schedule and depressing moments of my life a good book which gives me a good visualization is all I want to be lost with so thank you.

Based on the cover alone, I was going to pass, but your glowing review makes me pause to consider. Thanks for a great review!

The premise of this book sounds super interesting! Human mutation is a concept I haven't seen before. I love a good sci-fi novel, but the whole high school romance thing isn't really my cup of tea anymore. I'll probably skip this one, but I'm sure lots of people will really love it. :)
