It's a shame that this book is poorly executed because I found the premise attractive, at first.
I wonder how the author inserted the Kardashians in a story about Native Americans :?:
Thank you for your honest and analytical review.

This review started in such an interesting way. Too bad for the grammatical errors. I will pass. Thanks for the review.

First of all, the title of the book got my attention, then reading the review from the start, about a ghost called Yellow beard got me more intrigued, Unexpectedly, there goes my excitement drained at the middle of the review. The book sounds nice, but a good round of professional editing will be perfect. I applaud your honest review.

I love both story collections and tales of revenge, but with all the flaws you noted - especially the lack of decent editing - I'm going to have to pass. Thanks for the warning!

An interesting collection of short stories on a powerful ghost named Yellow Beard in the book "Yellow Beard & The Curse Of The Bloodline" by Lawrence V Webster. Each of the stories explores human nature when confronted with ancestral guilt. Hope the author looks at the shortcomings in the review and come out with nice book, which could be entertaining.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This sounds like an interesting idea for a story and the organization into the format of several short stories is interesting. Too bad the grammar mistakes and overall problems with believability were so distracting. Thanks for the review!

The book sounds so much fun. Also, I have not tried such a plot in a long time. Nice review.

I've always respected authors who attempted short stories. It's very hard to keep readers hooked and entertained with a plot that has to reach its peak in such a short span. With this one, let me just say it was a good attempt.

The first chapter was too gory for me. I can't read gruesome details of a mass murderer's work, even if the murderer is a ghost.

Your recommendation really got me guffawing. Beautiful review, although it's sad the book didn't make the cut.

Too bad that the execution of such a compelling story fell short of what a potential reader would like. Thanks for the comprehensive and informative review.

It seems Yellow Beard did not like what I wrote, so my comment vanished (or I forgot to push the "submit" button.
Anyway, I believe the book does not deserve to be read, let alone writing a review about it.
This being said, the review is remarkable, as it identifies all the points that can make someone drop the book after just a few pages.
What I was most disturbed about, like the reviewer, was the YB monologues. Who was he talking too? Fellow ghosts?
Also, I believe the entire genre is unfortunate and dangerous for putting ideas in misguided, curious teens' heads who might try to play the ghost for real. Especially in a country where anybody can get hold of a gun.

A collection of short stories, involving an incredibly powerful ghost named Yellow Beard, sounds like an interesting one. However, I'm not a fan of short stories. Thanks for this informative review.

I honestly think the stories of Yellow Beard will turn out better with a little touch. The author appeared to have put in so much effort but the outcome is a failed expectation. I was blown away by the first paragraph of this review but all the excitement died at the last paragraph.
