What a pity the novel is not well edited! It really sounds exciting, the review tells about a great sense of humour as well...

Thank you for your review misael. The protagonist seems even more endearing for having a pet dog as a side-kick and the development of his hobby of collecting boxes into the central piece of the plot seems likely to make for a great story.
I agree that the preponderance of errors in the writing severely detract and distract from the story and would hope that the author can have this corrected.

The story book is so captivating, "The Machine" by Gary Green. Written in simple sentences and understandable while reading.
The story brought about the importance of family and friends in one’s life. I love the good values presented. Congrats on BOTD.

Thank you for your review. This seems like an interesting story for teens and young adults. I think it captures the feeling of small-town USA. Congratulations on BOTD!

This is a really new story line to me. It's both exciting and boring at the same time. Exciting because of the mysterious box and boring because it's all about boxes. Anyway great review.

The boxes intrigue me. They sound like some kind of metaphor to me. I guess I will have to read the book to find out.

Consistency always pays. George continued to do what he loves consistently and he was paid for it with a reward. Now what I long to know is if the reward is a good or bad one. It has greatly aroused my interest. I love it.

If am in boy position I would check what is on the box rather than listening to other people to do away with it. I guess the boy at the end check what is on the box.

Sorry about the glaring errirs, which detracted from your enjoyment of the text. Thanks for the honest review.

I am really sorry to say, but description if the storyline provided by the review, unfortunately, failed to catch my attention. Blame it on my nature, because I lack that sort of curiosity to be interested what is hidden inside the closed box itching to look into it. Sorry and congrats with BOTD anyway!

A story about how a boy's love of boxes unearths mysterious secrets. I love how this sounds like a coming-of-age book mixed with magic. Thanks for the lovely review.

Read this book I was suspended fight their way through the errors. One things that caught my attention is how consistently Mick was gathering and handle.

I wonder why the author chose to use the 1940s. Could these boxes be related to WWII? I'm feeling a Jumanji vibe here.

The book Machine written by Gary Green is an amazing book because it talks about Robinson's story and continually Micky was a farmer and he used to collect boxes...

I usually like books that makes me visualize the scenes vividly as if I was with the characters. Those attributes makes books interesting.
