I love that the author highlighted the importance of parents supporting their children's dream. I love that Reme's parents put their differences aside and supported him, something that sometimes parents fail to do.

I know many parents who support their children's dreams, even if those parents do not necessarily understand them. I'm not too interested in racing, so I will pass, but kudos to the author for a job well done!

Afterburn by R.K. Higgins is a wild sci-fi ride about the sport of Anti-gravity racing. It starts out with a young man's desire to leave a simple life behind. Reme is a strong morally driven character that is likable and will have you rooting for him all the way.

As a fan of sci-fi I would love to read the book and find out how does Reme get to make it in his racing dream. I love that his parents got to support him on his dream. There is nothing great like parent's support.

I wonder who killed David. Reme's world is fascinating, and I can't wait to delve into it. I'll check this book out.

The review is insightful I could tell that the book is amazing from it. I would love to read and find out if David's crash was an accident or it was the handiworks of the cyborgs. I would also love to read more on Reme's journey of his racing dream.

The review shared helpful information, yet my dissatisfaction lies with the cover—it falls short of capturing the book's intriguing story. A more fitting design would enhance the overall appeal.
I value the learning process through feedback. If you have a moment, I'd be grateful for any thoughts on my work to help me enhance my skills. :tiphat:

I really enjoyed your detailed review of this book. Your vivid description of Reme's journey and the intricate relationships kept me engaged. I appreciate your insight into the parental theme and the cautionary aspects of technology. I'm intrigued and motivated to pick up the book based on your recommendation. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

I have somewhat conflicting emotions concerning this book, because even though good character development is always a big priority, the scenery chosen gives me a bit of a pause. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposite to strange appearance, "Farscape" had lots of it, but placing such rural story on different planet doesn't make it original. Apologies, but I prefer to pass.

This review is helpful and sufficient. It provides positive feedback on the book's themes, pacing, character development, and plot twist. The reviewer's recommendation and rating of 4 out of 4 stars would likely motivate others to buy the book. Overall, the book appears to be a good addition to anyone's library based on the reviewer's perspective.

The story in "Afterburn" by R.K. Higgins seem to be an interesting adventure tale. I will read to know the root cause of the David's pod explosion. Thanks for the review.

Reme falling for Kalina should be the spark of an interesting storyline and certain individuals coming into ones life would make them a step closer to their dreams.

Although I'm not big on sci-fi, this sounds very intriguing. I like fast-paced novels with an unexpected twist. I curious to find out who was behinds David's death. Thanks for a well written review. Congrats on BOTD.

Surprisingly this isn't my type of book but from your well written review I'll give it a go. Your review was enough to peak my interest while not giving away any spoilers which is rare. I love that it also explores a bit of other genres as well: romance,thriller/suspense. Looking forward to reading this thanks to your review. Great job #BOTD
