Re: Review of Thorn of Secrets

The Book certainly has a romantic drama attached to it, but I must say that some statements in your summary are unclear to me. For example, the way you introduced characters like Justin, Jackson, and Chauncey was not very clear and I did not grasp who they are and what their purpose were in Mandolin's life.

Thorn of Secrets is the continuation of the book Scorn of Secrets. Madison moves to Baton Rouge with her daughter after getting sexually assaulted. Jackson, the guy who sexually assaulted her, kidnaps her six months later.

The book cover makes this book look like a simple romance novel, but the actual storyline is much more complex than that.

This work of fiction has a long storyline that follows after a sexual abuse assault. It contains dramatic scenes and a realistic approach to relationships that adds color to the storytelling. Congrats on the BOTD!

Thorn of Secrets by B. Truly sounds interesting and emotional. I feel for Madison, and what she went through at the hands of Jackson. I can't wait to read and explore this book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

After reading the review, the book cover is the first thing that caught my attention coupled with the awesome choice of words to come up with the book title. I think this would make an exceptional read and I would be looking forward to reading about Madison. Congrats on BOTD

This book is filled with lots of drama and deep topics. Maybe it will help someone who has been through this abuse before. Congratulations on book of the day!

I like that the book encourages recovery and standing on your feet again after being subjected to such horrible circumstances.

Twisted fate. I can't imagine what it feels like, to be sexually abused and kidnapped by the same person. I would love to read this book to find out if Madison would survive. Congrats on BOTD

Wow, it looks like a fascinating book. Beautifully written, your summary of the book. I'm curious in what occurs after Madison is abducted. I also want to know how the story turns out. I appreciate your thoughtful assessment. This book is one I would read. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

I think topic such a sexual abuse in books intended for YA audience is important. I hope the author took care of it. I usually don't read books in the series out of order and it seems important to read book one here.

I think if I were to read the first book in this series I would definitely want to carry on with this one, as you have made it sound incredibly intriguing. I'd love to read more about Madison and her situation. Great review!
