Thank you very much for you review.
I think it is always interesting to read a book that offers a new way of narrating the story. I would like to learn more about this narrator in 3rd person omniscient.
Thanks again :D

Sounds to me like this novel is very unconventional when it comes to how it makes use of the elements especially for the plot and point of view. I wonder how the other elements play up as well. Very detailed review!

'Official Review; The Journey by Shadahyah Elizabeth',discusses the book in detail. It sharply points out towards the drawbacks of the book. What would an improved version be?The book might be 'food for thought', to give wings to imagination.

Excellent, well written review. I actually liked this read from the first few pages in the sample offering even when in just a few lines the word "King" is mentioned. I am not one to lean towards stories placed in "kingdom" times and with "fanatical creatures" and what not, basically not a fantasy person. However, the immediate dive into the introduction of all three girls was a relief because you see immediately while it is set in a fantasy/dystopian styled setting, the writing still remains to have an element of familiarity and modern day language. Knowing this is a series too about three young females is also a bit intriguing as you don't see 1) books with that many main characters and 2) series hosting that many leads... let alone all being female. Again, great review.

A very well written, descriptive and insightful review!! The novel seems pretty interesting and would be very appealing to young adult fiction lovers. Love the way the author created the characters, though I must say, a 21st century setting would really give it a bonus..

Great job on the review. I was a little interested in the story from the sample, but your review makes the book that much more enticing.

Once you skip past the first few pages, which were a little gray, you are thrown unexpectedly into the story. I couldn’t stop reading after that point, and there was no lack of action or another dull moment. Packed to the brim with many twists and turns, Shadahyah successfully captures your attention in this thrilling series, and holds it all the way ‘til the end. Some parts, she intentionally withholds information, almost to the point where you lose patience, and then she lets it go, and it electrifies the situation even more. I adored all of the female heroine characters, especially Elizabeth, they were all unique and complex in their own way. Elizabeth has a huge crush on their savior, Rico. While they are on a serious mission, her attitude towards him is hilarious as she has her mind on marriage with this new stranger, and lightens the situation. I laughed at quite a few parts, lots of humor blended throughout all of the adventure. I absolutely adored Shadahyah's style of writing, hidden pun, smooth flowing, and entertaining, with no lack of excitement, or over seriousness. I also loved the fact that it was set in a older medieval era, but had modern language/dialogue which I feel is much better than author's usually trying to fake the whole old English tone, that ends of taking away from the character development and translation of the story across to the reader. Overall, excellent!

I enjoyed reading your detailed review. After reading the sample I've decided to continue reading the book to see what happens to the three girls, who it appears have no idea they are witches.

I gotta say, I'm the most curious about the "alternate dystopian universe". It's always interesting to see how authors create their own worlds.

I used to read a lot of stories with supernatural element and action. Although now I feel this story would be a bit young for me.

There are so many books to read so as long as this series is not finished i will have to wait. It sounds good.
