Great review because this gave me a whole different view about this book. This book seems like a fun YA novel, and not serious. Full of adventure and fun.

Thanks for the review, but I don't this book involving "streetwise teen + James Bond" + etc. will be my kind of read. I don't care for books involving espionage.

The book Code Name Dodger by Eric Auxier seems like a good combination of humor and action in one package. The story follows a teenage boy Justin Reed who is a orphan living at Juvenile Home and is on a pursuit to go to his home town to take revenge against the murderers of his dad. The home town is also a place where his mother drowned when he was aged six, His journey to hometown is full of humor and the energy packed story appears to be quite enjoyable.

I love me a "streetwise teen + James Bond + Home Alone" spy thriller! The book does indeed sound "80% fun and 20% serious" as mentioned in the review. I'm totally sold, count me in! Thanks for the succinct review.

I would totally pass this by judging from the title, assuming that this was about baseball! Your review piqued my interest thoroughly and am now going to add this to my list of books to read and hopefully start on a wonderful new adventure in a new series! Thank you :tiphat:

I like that the book is light and humorous. Sounds like a fun spy action book that's geared not only for the young readers but also for adult or mature readers. Thanks for your review!

Home Alone meets Jason Bourne. Sounds like a fun book. It is definitely not my genre, but I really enjoyed reading your review. You characterized the action well and might have convinced people to read the book who would have passed based on the book cover. Great job.

Justin Reed is tricked into coming to CIA to help catch a man named the Pharaoh, the murderer of his father. It sounds like an interesting plot, but I don't usually read spy books.

The combo of comedy and spy action makes the novel a good read. I would give it a shot.

The combination "streetwise teen + James Bond + the wild ridiculousness of something like Home Alone" sounds intriguing. And it is really interesting to know what kind of "psychological experiment" Justin Reed had to undergo. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
