Sounds like a winner to me! I already love children's and YA books, so add some folklore of a different culture and I'm all in!

Russian folklore is a new dish for me. I'd gladly lose myself in this book to get a taste of it.

Great adventures. In facts, adventure stories are my favorite and I can see "Little Yoga and her friends," will be counted as one of my favorite books.

The review is so interesting and the reader has an overview of what he or will read and creates anxiety to read the book itself

The sample reminded me a little of Roald Dahl's writing; I think it would appeal to the same sort of age group of 10-13 year olds.

Oh yes, the house with chicken feet comes from a famous Russian fairytale. How fascinating that this story combines this with different, modern elements!

I like this book, but I can definitely see where it could be for children as well. My favorite parts of the book are the imagination of the author and the beautiful cover. I like that the story is a mixture of fables from two different cultures. I can easily imagine the Enchanted Forest and the other people that live there. I also like that there is a female hero who is not the wealthiest or the strongest, but is a hero nonetheless.

I love when stories put new twists on folklore! I don't actually know much about Russian folklore, so that will be a learning experience for me. Thank you for the review.

This book could be for young adults, with an imagination of the bigger picture. I think this book is showing how you can meet someone from a different walk of life and become friends. Little Yaga didn't know Ashley and still wanted to help her. Little Yaga's judgment of Ashley was to help and not harm, even after ordered. Moral of the story: Dont let one dictate how you should others.

My oldest niece is struggling right now to fit in. She says she is losing friends due to that "preteen" stage. I think this sounds like a book that would make her feel better but also help in a way. Congrats to the author.
