Slow-paced books are not my thing. Although, the book seems inspiring. Also, I see tough words as an avenue for vocabulary building. Thank you for this detailed review.

A book focused on family values and faith will have a lasting impact on the reader. Great review.

I'm not drawn to books with a religious theme unless they are discussing the religion itself factually. Also, I'm discouraged by the 'sluggish' aspect you mentions as well as the formatting of the book. Not for me, I suppose.

The title of the book caught my attention but the plot seems very slow. However, I would give it a try and see what happened to LaMar and the changes that occurred in his family. Thanks for the amazing review.

Most times, men need enough evidence to believe in God. I see this in Sydney's father. Great plot here.

This our faith by John Leslie Hart. Sydney is able to look into the future in bits and pieces. Growing up in a 1950s farm family, he must decide between his father's anti-religious views and his mother's faith.

The book seems to have well-developed characters, although the sluggish pacing could be improved – of course, the editing is a plus. I wonder what the story wishes to tell, i.e., if there are any messages to be taken from it? Thanks for the review.

Just like in Sydney's family, it's always difficult when there is a disparity in religious opinion.

The sample pages were quite dramatic and tense. "This our faith" sounds like it is quite a sad book. Themes on family and faith can be emotional and heartbreaking. Sydney takes a lot of responsibility onto his shoulders by trying to unite his family during the stressful time when his brother's life hands in the balance after the tragic accident.

I would like to know how Sydney was able to live with a mum who has has relentless faith in God and a father who does not.

The premise seems interesting, but I don't enjoy religious books, so I will pass on this one. Congrats on BOTD!

This book talks about faith and in a very good way. Seems really interesting but a bit slow as well. I'll look into it further more. Thanks for the review.

A family story is maintaining harmony in it. Sought not only by parents but children too. It should be read for teenagers who want family harmony. Great stories and reviews.
