A great review, definitely as a sci fi lover I have to read this book. It really surprises me to come across parents who let their children follow their dreams, they're missed in reality and fiction. I must admit that I was scared when I read about the death of a character because I thought it was a spoiler, but I guess it’s part of the synopsis and I’m intrigued about the surprises and plot twists it has. Noted as next reading. thx.

Reme Reagan wants to become a rider in the city of Andora; this sci-fill is full of adventure, courage, and teamwork. if you're into great character developments and love worlds where technology seems to have taken over, then this is an excellent read for you.

The story poses the dilemma for Reme of pursuing his dream of being a rider or taking charge of the farm as his parents wish. Also, the suspense and plot twists are additional positives. Sounds intriguing!

Your review captures the essence of 'Afterburn' beautifully! I appreciate how you highlighted the intricate character developments and the unexpected plot twists that R.K. Higgins masterfully weaves into the storyline. The way you described Reme's journey and his challenges, both personal and technological, makes me eager to dive into this book. It's intriguing to note your insights on the portrayal of technology's double-edged nature in the story. Great review!

This well-written, young adult science-fiction novel sounds like it will keep the reader on the edge of their seat, where it is full of action, adventure, and unexpected twists and turns. Great review!

It's nice to know that this books along with being a nice fast-paced sci-fi also has relatable stuff like parents wanting something for their child but in the end, realizing that their child's happiness matters more.

'Official Review: Afterburn' by R.K. Higgins helps the readers gain familiarity with the plot of the science fiction tale. I like how the reviewer relates the book to larger issues. The point that this is a story of a farm boy who had always dreamed of riding in the racing city of Andora is worth mentioning in the review. A remarkable point in the book was that the author used Reme's situation with his parents to portray how parents can help their kids achieve their goals. Also, as mentioned in the review, the work reveals the ugly side of technology and innovation. It was great to learn that the story depicts courage and teamwork!

"Afterburn" by R.K. Higgins is a fast-paced science fiction novel. Reme Reagan is a farm boy who dreams of riding in Andorra. Those dreams of riding in the racing city will come true thanks to Vick Dozz. The book is full of interesting twists, while the character development is exceptional.

Thank you for your wonderful review. Though science fiction isn't a genre I usually enjoy, those for younger readers I sometimes like. I thought this one was written well and glad to hear it was edited well too. I agree it seemed to keep the suspense going for the couple of chapters I read. After reading your review and you liking it so much, I decided to add it to my list of books to read and give it a try.

Who does want to read a good sci-fi novel and who doesn't want to read a book with technology innovation?
The review gives a good description on what's the novel about and really makes you want to read the book.Reminds me of the movie iRobot ,so it's definitely a book I'll pick up :techie-reference:
That's for the awesome review

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting young adult science fiction story following Reme, who dreams of being a racer and who he convinces his parents to follow his dreams. During one race, one of the competitors' pods explode which sparks hostilities. Will Reme get to race again or will the cyborgs end his dreams? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Why do I feel like Reme is responsible for the death of David? hahaha, it sounds impossible but it could very well be the truth. Anyway, since this book will open my eyes to the downsides of technology, I would've to read it. Kudos to the reviewer of this book,he/she did a neat job!
