Thanks for the review, but something about this coming-of-age story with parallel worlds just isn't gelling for me.

Great review and now I’m keen on checking out the Audible version. I’ve never listened to an audiobook before but this sounds perfect! Seems like a great mystery with interesting characters and creatures for both kids and adults

I didn't know there were audiobooks here. Sounds like a great way to enjoy this book. The author has created a unique world. Should be a good fit for fantasy fans.

I really enjoyed reading this book. How cool that they offered it as audio book as well!

Wow! Your review makes this book sound awesome. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I did not have the same experience when I read it because I just couldn't get into the story. Conversations like this are one of the reasons I love OBC!

Great review, thank you! It has convinced me that this is a book worth reading. I've always been interested in the concept of parallel worlds so this book is right up my alley.

Not interested in fantasy books so I will pass on this one. I can tell the author is really creative and has great imagination though.

Parallel worlds and a missing twin sounds compelling. The constant danger and action would be fun, but this isn't my genre. Thanks for the interesting and thoughtful review.

Congratulations on the book of the day! This reminds me a lot of the first book in the Narnia series, especially the opening scene in his father's study and the premise of being stuck in a parallel world, though of course it's a bit different. Thank you for toughing out the audiobook for us!

Glad to know that it's full of action! And the thought of a parallel world that our mirrored images live sounds cool. Great review.

The sample pages reminded me of the show Stranger Things, and from the sound of your review, a parallel world exists that Will is trying to understand. I usually read non-fiction, and with this being geared toward middle school students, then I think I will pass for now. Great insight, though, from your review. Thanks so much!

This is a book that I reviewed in recent past and it is already in my 4 out of 4 star book collection. I wished it could have been more long, since I felt like it was a little fast paced. Glad to see it has become BOTD and congratulations
