Two missions. One is for Thor and Loki, the other Angelica and Jonah. Thor and Loki are instructed by their father Odin to find the last mortal children of the fallen Archangel Azazyel. Angelica and Jonah, who happen to be the last scions of Azazyel, are to find the lost staff of Moses and Solomon’s magical ring. Will they be successful in their missions? Only time will tell.

Without the help of the Gods of the Old World, Angelica and Jonah will not be able to find and master these talismans. Failure is not an option, if they are to survive the obstacles and dangers of the Nine Realms. The battle storm of all battle storms is about to arrive throughout the Nine Realms, so they all must prepare themselves for what is to await them.

RK Wheeler’s Hammer of the Gods: The Nine Realms is a very entertaining read, full of Angels, Demons, Gods, Dragons, Elves, Fairies, Gnomes, and Dwarves. All the characters are vibrant and full of life, and are all a part of Norse, Greek, and Hebrew mythology. With the characters being of Norse, Greek, and Hebrew mythology, it gives the novel more depth and has a more believable quality to it. The descriptions of all the different realms were breathtaking and allowed the sense for easy transportation into their worlds. I found the sibling rivalry between Thor and Loki funny yet interesting at the same time.

The way in which this novel is displayed is very eye catching. I loved the poems at the start of every chapter, and the images were stunning and magical. Every chapter title was based on either a different character or part of the plot of the story. I felt that the novel was well researched, and the novel was written in a way that showed easy flow progression throughout and was easily understandable.

My recommendation for RK Wheeler’s Hammer of the Gods: The Nine Realms is that it is a fantastic book for all ages. This novel is also perfect for readers who are fans of Thor, Loki, and the movie Thor. I hope other fellow readers enjoy this novel as much as I did.

I rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars I gave the novel 4 stars because it was fun, entertaining, well written, and interesting. I did not give the novel 3, 2, or 1 Stars because I thought the story deserved a higher rating.
