Great review. The writer really chose a different perspective to write about the war. I really like it.

Coming of age during the war cannot be easy. Sounds like an emotional book.

I like that the past events of the war and the Japanese internment camps are told through the eyes of an adolescent boy. That point of view definitely brings a different touch to the story. Great review!

This book is definitely told from an unusual perspective. I didn't think that this would really be a young adult book when I read the synopsis on Amazon. Thanks for the informative review.

This is a nice book to read for me. Looking at the experience of war from the perspective of a young man. This is really quite different. I also admire the balance in character development and plot. Great review it is.

This novel sounds like a great one. I like it that the author gives a clear perspective of an adolescent youth concerning the world war II. It is likable that there is "a harmonious balance between character development and plot." Not my genre, though. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

'Official Review: Wonks' by William Reese Hamilton excels in describing the story of the book for readers! The point that the book is an emotionally charged tale of one boy's experience in a war camp at the hands of a ruthless and formidable enemy is worth mentioning in the review! I like the plot of the story! The element of humor included in the story of the book is appreciable for readers! Nice to learn that the plot of the story is engaging and the characterization great!

What an interesting setting for a coming-of-age story. Using the back drop of a WWII confinement camp, the author shows the world through the eyes of a twelve year old boy. Thanks for the great review!
