I'm curious to figure out about the box found by Mick. The storyline sounds great with none stop humor. Love to read fiction by Gary Green to reminisce childhood memories.

This novel is packed with mystery, suspense, and humor. Although the storyline sounds intriguing, I will be skipping this novel for now due to numerous grammatical errors. Hopefully, the author will fix it soon. Thanks for the great review!

I wonder what the world would look like without magic. The book made me remember the period when I was still little, where I believed anything could be achieved without much stress.

I’m intrigued by the main character’s fascination with boxes. I have to wonder if there’s a reason this little quirk came to be. The magician’s box sounds interesting as well. What powers could it have? Is it as dark as everyone says? (And, given the nature magicians in the first place, I have to wonder if it’s all real or just another slight-of-hand—maybe even all in people’s heads.) It’s too bad about all the mistakes mentioned in the review, though. Those can really be a turn-off for me. Thank you for the helpful review.

Mick has an intriguing type of characteristic; he's always consistent with boxes. I liked how this book was filled with humor. Thanks for your lovely review.

Thanks for your review. Collecting boxes is an interesting hobby, and Mick's experience with the odd-shaped box seems equally interesting.

This is a story about Mick that takes place in the 1940s. Mick has an unusual hobby, he collects empty boxes that he labels with the date he obtained the box. While at a carnival with his friends he finds a magicians box and his friends tell him not to open it because it is probably evil. A strange habit but with a great amount of humor the author made the book very entertaining. Very good review.
