A captivating story with a young protagonist who seeks to save his kingdom from an evil queen. The book is well-written, with descriptive scenes that will retain the readers' interest.

Wow, this sounds like a great book! I love that it's a real fantasy book with Christian themes rather than choosing a side of the imaginary rift between religion and fantasy. I did just recommend the book to a friend before realizing it was faith-based. Do you recommend it for non-religious audiences?

Yosyph and Halavant sounds like the kind of characters that will keep you begging for more. I love when authors present two perspectives of their story and converge them at the key time. This book is perfect for my bookshelf! Wonderful review :tiphat:

There is more to the story than normal young adult hero I can tell. It also sounds like there could be more to come for Yosyph. Great one.

This sounds like an interesting book to read. Especially because it is an adventure and an informative one. I also like the fact that there is a powerful female character in the book. I might read this one. Great review!

This seems to be a young adult novel with adventure, fantasy, inspirational, and fascinating character development as some of its main aspects. I don't think it is for me, but congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the informative review!

This sounds like a thrilling adventure novel for young adults! A boy spied on the queen under the guise of a mute servant. Soon, he would have to be a hero and save his people. Sounds interesting.

I don't normally reach for books in the more religious genre; however, I do like a good sci-fi. I am curious to see how the two wind together.

I like that the book tells a story of triumphant hope over bad situations. Sometimes, this type of book is necessary in this trying period to wake up hopeless situation. The review sparked a fire of curiosity in me and will definitely give this book a read.

I love a good severely knotted storyline if there would be satisfactory clarity at the end, which this writer is reviewed to have done. I would also love the see the character development of Halavant, Katrin, and Yosyph.

Wow ok, this review is contagious! How the storyline combines epic-like fantasy elements with real-life potential scenarios sounds intriguing. I had no idea that this would be even slightly connected to Christianity but I certainly feel inclined to check out the book. Thanks for the analysis!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting young adult fantasy novel about a prince turned underground rebellion leader who wishes to thwart the queen's, his mother's, plan to enslave a third of the kingdom's population based on the fact that they have foreign blood running in their veins. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
