Inspector Mage has an interesting storyline. I could feel the looming chemistry between Russell and Julie. I enjoy reading fantasy stories with mages and magic. Congratulations on BOTD.

I have to admit that I am definitely intrigued by the idea of magic and mystery in the novel, but when you add secrets and murder, then I'm all in. I've already downloaded it to my Kindle and will be starting after I finish my review book. I can't wait! And with at least two more to come what could be better.

I appreciate a good murder-mystery, but magic is a bit too much of a stretch. Also, I don't take kindly to the author’s blatant attempt at ‘setting the book up for a sequel’ because that’s bound to adversely affect the quality of delivery. Add to that the limitation in Russell’s character growth and the simplified writing, then your rating and primary recommendation are probably about right.

I enjoy YA books and this sounds very interesting, especially with the magic that's involved to solve the murder. I'm definitely adding this to my 'want to read' list. Thanks for a great review.

Inspector Russel Gains and Julie Melton's work together would be a suspense-filled, and exhilarating one. I can't wait to delve into the book to see what the future awaits for them. Congratulations on being the Book of The Day.

Fraudulent is the book about Julie Melton's book. Her well-kept secret is jeopardised, though, by a murder at Melton Manor. Can she keep her secret a secret to avoid ruining herself and her family? Check out its contents.

Thanks for the review. Solving a murder mystery is intriguing, but using magic is somewhat escapist and does not resonate with me.

Does it mean that the New Age God was greater than Russel? Why was Gaines unable to close the case? I hope inspector Russel Gaines and Julie Melton will be able to work together. I love the book cover. Great review.

This first installment of the very engaging murder mystery sounds just the book I would take up. I've never read a murder mystery before so it's gonna be an exciting and thrilling first experience.
