Ryan and Matthew are playing video games. They have been best friends for a long time. Suddenly, they find themselves washed out on a beach with no memory of how they got there. Soon it becomes clear that it isn't a dream. The boys instinctively know that they have to find shelter and food. They are fearful of what dangers may lurk in the forest. They opt to sleep on the beach. There seems to be no way of getting help. They decide that finding a way off the island is a priority.

Ryan is determined to find out how they landed up on a beach. He remembers playing games with Matthew, but the rest is all vague. As they try to survive, it becomes clear that someone expects them to complete certain tasks. Every task that is completed is rewarded with food and tools. It seems as though they have gotten stuck in some type of virtual game. Ryan and Matthew believe that it is vital for their survival to work together.

Island Gamesย by Caleb J. Boyer is a book that keeps the reader's attention till the very last page. There are many challenges on the island that could result in serious injury or death. This elevates the element of suspense to almost unbearable levels. I love how the two friends have to overcome many difficulties, which ultimately bring them even closer together. The story highlights the importance of teamwork and friendship.

There was nothing that I didn't like about this book. The characters were well developed, and the storyline didn't lag. Every task that the boys had to complete was explained clearly and concisely, which made it easy to understand. I enjoyed the dangerous undertones. The constant uncertainty of what might happen next kept me reading until the very last page. There was also a nice twist in the plot, but this will only be revealed to those who read the book.

I found only minor errors that didn't distract from the enjoyment of reading this book. Because of this and the fact that the author was only 12 years old, I give this book a rating ofย 4 out of 4 stars. The book was professionally edited. Teenagers will love this book. I recommend it to people that enjoy adventure and sci-fi. I would love to see this book as an animated film. I hope this young author will bless the world with many more books.

after so many books i read. Recently there is a book that tells a story about sacrificing someone to do a virtual game on an uninhabited island. The story is quite interesting because it tells the story of friendship, teamwork and accuracy to complete the virtual game vision. This review is very interesting.

This book seems very interesting. Waking up on a deserted island must have been very scary for them. I have to find out what happens next. Thanks for a great review! :D

Well, this certainly looks interesting. The fact that the author wrote this book when he was twelve only makes me more curious.
Thanks for a great recommendation!

The book aroused my interest in many ways. I wonder what became the author's inspiration at such an age to came up with an action book. The cover of the book reminded me of the Hunger Games. Great review!
