What's your Grace? (Graceling by Kristin Cashore)

It's been a while since I've read this book, but I loved it so much. The setting was just amazing to me. And even though I thought it was kind of silly to have two different color eyes indicate that someone had a Grace, I also thought it was awesome.

So I want to know:
If you were Graced, what would your skill be? And why do you think so?

I liked this series and was sad to see there was nothing to follow up Bitterblue. I would like to have a Grace of fighting skills. It would be so awesome to be able to jump in and help someone in need or be able to deal with injuries without having a queasy feeling each time you see blood. That would sure come in handy!

I have only read Graceling not any of the other books. Still I enjoyed it immensely. My Grace would probably be math. I am just really good at math. I have always been that way.

yay! I'm so excited people actually replied! I read Graceling ad Fire, but I didn't enjoy Fire as much as I loved Graceling, just because it was the two main characters of Gracelings (whose names I can't think of to save my life right now!) that made me love the story so much. I was going to read Bitterblue, but it was brand new and really expensive at the time, so I didn't buy it then. I kind of forgot about it until just now.

Anyway, as for me, my Grace would be super ninja stealth. Like, I would move completely quietly and sneak up on people and into homes and vanish without anyone ever knowing I was there. I'm always really quiet in real life, and I used to scare one of my coworkers all the time because she could never hear me entering the room. She actually made me wear a bell one day.

I love this series! My Grace would probably be reading super-fast like Death, but I would also love to have a fighting Grace.

My grace would end up being one of the pointless ones like jumping really high or something. I loved Graceling so much though.

First of all, I loved Graceling, Bitterblue and Fire. If I had a Grace, it would probably be fighting, because I do alot of martial arts.

I like to think that my grace would be mind-reading, like Po's. But in reality it would probably be something a lot less cool.

That's pretty much how I feel about myself. Like, I would love to have super intuition (I've been told I have good intuition already) or something that could turn into a mind-reading power like that... but in reality, it would probably just be like, "there's a 30% chance it's already raining" kind of Grace.

I actually have Bitterblue checked out from the library right now. I have read the first two books and really liked Graceling quite a lot. :D As for what my grace would be, I will have to think about it for awhile. It is not an easy choice. :|

For some reason I wouldn't have pegged you as a guy who would read Graceling! 8)

My grace would probably be something to do with communicating with animals! My other passion besides reading is animals. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and love every single one! In fact I probably prefer animals over humans
Here's to hoping for one purple and one blue eye?! :D

Oh nice one! That brings open another topic! What color would your eyes be! One purple and one blue would be great!

I would be weird and kind of want to keep my original eye color, well... for one eye anyway. Maybe I could have one original brown eye and one gold. That would work for me.

This was a very good book. My favorite of the three in its series. I was sad that there wasn't more books because I could see so many different paths Kristin could have went with to write more.

Graceling was very imaginative, I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book and almost did not read it, but I did and I loved it. I am not sure what MY grace would be if I was in this story but I would hope it would be something badass like Katsa!
