A secret buried for a long time may eventually fade away into nothing. You may never know which secret or whose secret is around the corner. All is normal and quiet in town till Kate arrives with her family for a summer vacation. Her stubborn antics and erratic behavior is guaranteed to get her in trouble. She restlessly awaits the end of the holiday, when she can return to their home in the city.

Linked Through Time by Jessica Tornese tells the story of Kate, a young girl who is angry at the world. She had always strived to be one of the ‘cool’ kids at the top of the social food chain. She considers being an exact replica of her dead aunt a considerable disadvantage. What happens when she wakes up in the body of her aunt, living her life from forty years ago, or when she catches the attention of a boy from the past? Can she discover how her aunt Sarah, who was said to have committed suicide, was murdered? Can she find out the identity of the killer and bring them to justice? And can she clear up her aunt’s good name? Find out in this amazing work of fiction.

There are a few positive aspects to this book. I did not discover a lot of errors while reading this piece, which is proof that it was professionally edited. The characters' emotions were also carefully and properly portrayed in the storyline. I commend the author for being able to expertly depict the time change that occurred when Kate went back in time. It was written in a compelling manner and served to make the book more interesting. I would also like to note that the book was very brief and straightforward. This made it easy to complete in one sitting.

The book also contains a vital moral lesson, which is to never take anything for granted. At the beginning of the story, Kate disregards and disrespects her father and grandparents. Only after her enlightening journey did she discover their true value in her life. Kate is barely a teenager seeking society's approval and is ignorant of the world while acting like a spoilt kid, but we learn that at the end of her journey, she emerges as a wiser and more confident version of herself.

On the other hand, I was only able to point out one negative aspect of this book, which is its ending. The author concluded this book on a major cliffhanger, therefore leading to a sudden and abrupt end. This may not go down well with future readers, who would be forced to use their imagination to finish it up. This is merely an observation unless the writer intended it that way.

I rate this book Four out of Four stars due to all the above positive aspects. The author combined the elements in her book to make it a captivating read. The book is properly written and organized. I recommend this book to lovers of metaphysical and paranormal books.

A fictional piece with the twisted activity of one's consciousness been transferred to the despised body of another personality coupled with time fluctuations.....seems like a science-fiction thriller...very nice

The friction ,eagerness and promptness of Kate to bring her anuty killer to book is second to none. The author did a great job .the abrupt ending of this piece is what am concerned about, but it's a great work all together ❤

The book seems intriguing. I would love to know what went down during the switch and who the killer was. Lovely review.

I love Kate's character development! Sadly, the abrupt ending kind is a major turn-off :( But I still consider it as a good book. Thanks for your review
