Yes, I love The Outsiders! We read it in class in seventh grade, and I still haven't forgotten about it. We got a group of friends together and watched the movie because we loved the book so much. A lot of people in our grade still quote it quite a bit. Going into our junior year, that sure says a lot about how well it is remembered.

I remember reading it in 8th grade and my teacher wouldn't let me take it home to finish it early. I loved it!

Its the book I've read the most often. Maybe a dozen times over the years.
The movie really didn't do it justice I found. They skipped scenes from it too.

This is a book I was required to read in school and totally fell in love with. I remember discussing the characters with my friends and being so heartbroken when anything happened to the characters we grew so attached to! It’s a great read for all ages.

My entire 8th-grade class wept when we read it for the first time. and then wept again when we watched the movie afterwards. It's also one of my mom's favourite books. It's touched so many people.
