Although this book's genre is miles away from my alley, having sampled it and having read the review I agree that this book is exceptionally well-written and feel like giving it a try.

Madison's story of abuse and development strikes me as inspiring and motivational. Being a sequel is not a problem for this book because it can be read independently, which is good. I adore the plot and congratulate the author on a job well done in terms of editing. Nice review

Madison was sexually molested, she was also heart broken twice and kidnapped. This is too much for her, i pray she survives the trauma. Congrats on BOTD

It sounds like this book has a truckload of relationship drama in it. The kidnapping seems a surprise turn to me, and makes me wonder why would the man who assaulted the protagonist want to kidnap her half a year later. Are the motives revealed in the book?

Thank you for the lovely review.

This sounds like an incredibly drama-packed book, though I'm not sure it aligns with my tastes very well. Love hearing about sequels that can stand alone, nice review!

Thorn of Secrets, the second book in the "My darkest secret" duology, is undoubtedly an exciting follow-up that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The book's subjects were all incredibly interesting to me, and I was astonished to learn that some of the scenes were based on actual events. Thanks for the review and Congrats to the author on BOTD.

Madison has been through some bad relationships. After being sexually assaulted, she has tried to put the pieces of her life back together. But with Justin now in her life and Chauncey still holding on, who will she choose? Jackson has been released from prison after assaulting her. But how long will she have to look over her shoulders? I would like to read the book to find out. Thanks for your review.

The book's cover has piqued my interest already. Though a work of fiction, I believe there are lessons to be learned from the travails of Madison. I enjoyed reading your review.

I already owned this book from the past and loved it. Madison's realistic feelings were understandable, especially since Justin and Jackson are twins. Since Jackson raped her, every time she looks at Justin, she sees the face of her violator. Good review.

It seems that the character of Madison has an interesting evolution in this story. I'm curious to know what happens to her after Jackson kidnaps her. I find the steadiness of Madison's personality appealing. Also, the handling of the topics of trauma and sexual abuse in the plot is attractive.

The story is full of intriguing secrets, and the whole story of being sexually assaulted is traumatizing enough. The book is very well written, and so is the review. I personally enjoyed reading the sample but it was somewhat predictable.
