Beautiful Oblivion- Jamie Mcguire

Working as a bartender at the local bar, that the young town folk frequent, Cami has met nearly everyone in the small town. Which means she has met the Maddox brothers, specifically Trenton Maddox. Trent has always been fascinated by Cami. An innocent friendship between the two, draws Cami to Trent, and she is compelled to re-evaluate her relationship with T.J. when Trent makes his feelings known to her-loud and clear. Torn between the two most important men in her life, leaves Cami with no choice but to break one of the two hearts that hold nothing but love for her. All she can do is allow her own heart to make the decision. But, she knows she will never truly be completely free of the feelings for the other one, irrespective of the decision her heart makes for her. Trent doesn't know how intricately mixed his life is with T.J.'s. Would he be able to love Cami if he knew who he was?
Another one of the Maddox brothers! The dots finally connect to reveal the big picture made up of the little bits and pieces about Cami and Trent, which were thrown here and there while we trudged alongside Travis and Abby on one helluva bumpy ride. There is fluidity in the unfolding of events. Events which hold just the right amount of mystery, drama, pain and of course, love. My favourite part of the book has to be Trenton’s humour. The story could have easily been too heavy on the drama, but it has been cleverly evened out by the light touch given to the writing style. So readers, can you resist a Maddox? That’s what I thought. Go ahead, pick it up and devour it!
