The Hunger Games ~ Suzanne Collins

Post by BrooklynnEnns »

I read The Hunger Games the first time last year around this time and recently read it again. Now I kind of want to make it a tradition for myself to read it every year. If the fact I read it again didn't get the though clear, as many others I LOVE the book.

The only thing I'll warn you though is I recommend you read the book before the movie. I made that mistake, and I wish I hadn't. The movie and the book are very similar and it can get kind of boring if you already know what will happen. I know it is like this for pretty much every book, but this time especially. I am pretty sure the quote the book word for word.

In the book Katniss, the main character has volunteered for her sister Primrose, who is originally pulled in the raffle to determine which two from District 12, where they live, will go into the game of death. The other person to go with her is Peeta. The book is action packed and adventurous, but very VERY well written!

That is all I know how to say without spoilers, but the book is amazing and great for anyone (In My Opinion)!
