Personally, I prefer the book to movie because it is easier to understand the story and I can always go back to re-reading the book whenever I want to.

I enjoy both the books and the movies. However, the books provide additional details that are not present in the films.

I definitely prefer books when it comes to any and all movies! I always feel like my own imagination steals the show so much more than the director's cut. I also find that films can never cover all the detail and subtleties that books can; therefore, the characters come to life so much more in the book! One of the things I find disappointing about movies is the industry's willingness to diverge from the storyline for additional sensationalism.

I have not read Harry Potter’s books , I have only s en movies ,but based on other books that I have read and was converted into movies . I prefer books . Books have a different charm and you can feel all the emotions. In movies they usually change the plot which I do not like at all .

I liked both the books and the movies. While the books give you a deeper understanding of the storyline the movie gives a more visual perspective to the book, even though there is many things that is missing from the movies. If you read the book after watching the movies, like I did, it's easier to picture the Harry Potter World more vividly.
