This book is about a senior in high school, Katherine Danziger. Who meets this boy at one of her friends party during the summer. His name is Michael Wagner, and he is also still in high school. It's about them falling in love for the first time, and it really shows the reality of how relationships between two young and hormonal teenagers are. It also deals with Katie having to figure out if it's just lust or the real thing, love. I would give this book 3 out of 5 stars, it was a short quick read, but didn't really pull me in. Also I didn't fall in love with the characters either. Share comments and thoughts about this book!

I read this book in a college "Children's Literature" class and got some interesting feedback from my classmates as well.
Apparently this book was really big among young adults back in the 70s because of the "risque" material features inside, which didn't really exist, especially for this age group back then. I thought it was pretty good. I don't really remember much else about it.
