I just finished this book about a week ago - really enjoyed the back-and-forth chapters between Darcy and Lizzie. Darcy, who is writing a novel (Afterworlds) and Lizzie, who is the main character of Afterworlds, were both interesting characters to me, though I think Darcy was better developed, while Westerfeld seemed to focus much more on SPOILER Lizzie's cool ghost powers.

Has anyone else read Afterworlds? This is my first time reading a Westerfeld book - any other thoughts on him? Are his other books similar in theme or tone as Afterworlds? Worth checking out?

I love Scott Westerfield, but I haven't read this book. I accidentally read a spoiler, but obviously, I don't know that is a spoiler, since I have never even heard of this book. Hahaha. I am so out of date with newer books. I haven't read anything of his since Midnighters. Also recommend those and the Uglies books.
