Book Review: "See Me" by Susan halter
Do you believe in spirits that transcend off of the Ouija board? This story starts off with a simple game on the Ouija board with Amy and her closet friends to reveal the faith of first date with the most popular boy in school, Alex Decker. They ask all the important questions; if the date will be fun, if he will fall head over heels for her, and the most importantly will he give her a goodnight kiss?
Amy Love is too old to believe in ghosts and zombies, at least she thought she was until she ruins her first date with Alex by feeling spooked because of the Ouija board. She couldn’t even lean into her goodnight kiss without the spirits bothering her.
A few days go by but the constant feeling of being watched doesn’t fade away. It isn’t until Amy accidently slips and bumps her head when she starts to see things that no one else could phantom. In that moment Amy feels free and trapped all at once and when she opens her eyes again she realizes that she has lost total control of her body. It is like her soul has been trapped in the belly of her stomach and some boy seems to be taking her place. She tries everything in her power to get out and take control of her body but it is no use.
Jonathan is a sixteen-year-old boy who seems to have found himself trapped inside of a sixteen-year-old girl’s body with very little memory of the last moments of his life. All he knows is that he only has a few moments before he is invisible and voiceless again and he needs to use each second wisely to figure out what is going on with him.
“See Me” by Susan Hatler is about two teenagers, one who feels invisible to her parents, peers, and teachers while the other is literally invisible to everyone except Amy. They only have a few days to figure out what is really going on and they only have a handful of people who will even believe in what Amy is trying to say. There is apart of me that wants to go back and reread this book cause I feel like I might have missed a few things, but I think that is one of the things that make a book great!

They still freak me out too!
It isn't a scary novel more so about ghosts that are around not to haunt but to finish some unfinished business....it has its moments but overall a great novel without too much suspense!
