Concerned about her own involvement in the affair and convinced that the sheriff has made a mistake, the smart, sharpshooting 13 year-old sets out with Agatha’s former sweetheart, Billy, to find the truth about her sister’s disappearance and finds big trouble in the form of outlaws, wild animals, and other dangers along the way.
