The Alchemist

Post by g_b_2015 »

The Alchemist had many insightful elements. Unfortunately, one finds themself trudging through the book more than a few times. You could say it works for the book because it does highlight the exciting moments of the timeless story. Despite its desert setting, there is no dam holding the waters of the book back. Coelho truly wrote a beautiful story that resonates with anyone relatively human. He brings up theological points in ways that do not give the common person a head ache and makes you think of the world in an entirely new way. The Alchemist gives the reader a ride along the path of self-discovery, an irrevocable trip that you will not regret.
