Before I go to Sleep S. J. Watson

Post by hala-kutaimi »

A friend of mine brought me this book right after I read Gone Girl. I was a bit uninterested at the beginning but like the concept of journal entries as chapters so I kept reading. It turned out to be a really fascinating novel that's structure can dazzle the reader as you go along. It's most interesting aspect would be the normal suburban lifestyle Chrissie had, her trust in people she didn't really know and the terrifying steps she took to figure out the truth about her past.
I thought the idea of waking up in your own skin but being unfamiliar with your own body was something the author presented well.

This book really blew my mind! unexpected turns
I really recommend reading it before watching its movie. as it didnt give the story its worth.
unbelievable how the human mind would adapt to changes and problems.. you would never imagine that someone really went through all this ...
