Spoilers? Last Words - Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

Post by khuang »

Rainbow Rowell book's in a way remind me of John Green books and so if you love his books you'll love hers. Eleanor and Park is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time and is great for those romantics. But to those who have read it. I want to know. What do you think those three words on the postcard were?! I personally think that its I love you or Nothing ever ends.

I agree that the words were "I love you". Park had been telling Eleanore that he loved her the throughout the story and Eleanore never replied with those exact words. Those were the three words Park wanted to hear from her. After all that Park had done for her and after she removed herself from that horrible situation, Eleanore was able to really see their relationship for what it was and finally tell Park she loved him.
