Eleanor and Park is basically about a girl and her poor and large family who move into a new neighbourhood. It shows the struggles of a curvy girl and the normal challenges teenagers face like bullying and trying to fit in.
This book really doesn't have a set plot line. While reading, I noticed that the book doesn't really take me anywhere, I just read about the everyday life of two teens. Although the book had no real plot, I still enjoyed reading it. I was invested in the characters and I wanted to see how the book would end.
If you like books with minimal to no problems with a very realistic feel to it, I totally recommend this book. It was written with such emotion that it seemed to be more of a memoir than a fictional book.
