Upon reading the final installment in the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, I felt like I had been given a gift. Though the book is a piece of fiction, it gave me a sense of completion. It wrapped up every small thread that had been started in the previous books, and even started some of its own in the process. Using a wide variety of vocabulary, the author gave the reader the feeling of importance and enlightening. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and am very excited to see what else Cassandra Clare comes out with.
