I got this book also in the Big Bad Wolf book fair. Notice the price tag?

This book is about a beautiful young lady named Grace Brookstein who's married to the king of Wall Street ( one of the richest guy in New York, just saying :P ) , Lenny Brookstein. Everything was perfect and she was so in love with Lenny. Until one day Grace and Lenny and few of their friends and also Grace's sisters went to a vacation (kind of a 3 days and let's have a break vacation) to Lenny's private beach estate in Nantucket. Everything there was going fine until there was this storm and unfortunately Lenny was out there at the sea, sailling. After few days of searching, there was still nothing from him. Also, to make things worst, $75 billion invested in Quorum, Lenny's hedge fund is gone. Everyone blames Grace that she and Lenny have stolen it. Everyone, including her sisters (who's always have been jeolous of her perfect life) started hating her. The only person who right by her side was John, Lenny's marketing guy and also the person who knows every single details about Quorum (basically he was like the second important guy in Quorum after Lenny not in terms of how rich he was but in terms of running the Quorum). Grace then also got the news that Lenny was death and was sent to identify Lenny's corpse that was half eaten by the fishes in the sea. Grace's was then sent to jail and John, who was the only person she believed and the only person who wants to help refused to help her further as he started to not believe her just like others. She then goes through the darkness where even in jail everyone hates her, she was referred to as a thief. She even gets beats up by one one her cellmate. This story basically revolves around Grace who eventually escapes from jail just to clear Lenny's name and find out the murderer as she believes that Lenny's death wasn't an accident but a murder.

I really liked this book. I really liked how Grace taught me to not give up no matter how bad the circumstances is. She seriously went through a lot, like seriously a lot. At one point, I was like JUST LET HER BE HAPPY ALREADY! (like for real, I really did that). This book made me cry because I really felt like helping Grace so badly (but I can't she's a fictional character). I gave it 3 out of 5 stars in goodreads because I was expecting more from the author as the story was kind of predictable. The conclusion was predictable, for me I guess, but it was acceptable. So yea overall it was a good read, wasn't a page flipper for me, but it was a good book.
