Review : A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks

Post by Shalini21 »

I guess I don't have to emphasis much on the synopsis of this book since many of you'll have either read it or watched the movie. My version of the book is the paperback movie tie-in edition. This book is about a seventeen year old boy named Landon Carter (which I think it's an amazing name idk why) who falls in love with a girl named Jamie Sullivan. And the most important point here is, Landon wouldn't have thought for a million years that he would fall for a girl like Jamie. Jamie basically is the daughter of the town's Baptist minister. Yeap, that says it all. Jamie is that cheerful, spiritual girl who is always helping people, volunteering in orphanage homes, old folk homes and never leaves anywhere without her Bible. The book starts of with Landon who's now fifty-seven years old (if I'm not mistaken, sorry guys, if I'm wrong please correct me) tells us the story of their amazing love story.
