Prepare to pack your bags and embark on a delightful adventure through the magical world of Echoland, as Dew Pellucid's The Crystalleries of Echoland takes you on an unforgettable journey. Remember a good headset, an earphone, or an AirPod because this picnic will be loud and narrative. Dew Pellucid is ready to introduce listeners of this audiobook to Will Cleary, a young boy who returns from a mysterious disappearance without his twin sister. Accompanied by the wolf and hawk, Will sets out to locate his sister and discovers a world beyond his wildest imagination. The tale that Pellucid spins will have you on the edge of your seat because of all the unexpected turns it takes. The audiobook's detailed narrative and evocative descriptions will make you feel like you've stepped into Will's shoes and joined him on his trip across Echoland. Will's journey through this new world is one of bravery, devotion, and self-discovery as he learns to accept his role among the Echoes. Strange and exciting creatures like Sounds and Fate Sealers add depth to the narrative. Will must hide his identity to navigate the strange lands and achieve his goals.

The Crystalleries of Echoland's well-drawn characters are relatable and endearing, leaving you rooting for Will and his animal companions every step of the way. The audiobook is a delightful masterpiece of fantasy literature with a soothing narrator that will thrill and inspire readers of all ages. Its engaging plot, captivating narrative, and charming characters make it the perfect picnic read for anyone looking for an adventure. So pack your blanket, grab a basket of goodies, and join Will and his friends on their quest through Echoland. Kindly take advantage of this beautiful picnic in the world of fantasy!

One of the things I like most about this audiobook is how the narrator makes you think and feel. The narrator's voice and intonation are calm and heightened when needed, leaving listeners with the right amount of suspense and delight. Echoland is a realm where the people and buildings are translucent, like ghosts, and the narrative opens with the question of where the children have gone. The Echoes are mirror reflections of Earthlings in Echoland, longing for the return of their rightful monarch.

The complexity of the characters is one of the audiobook's strengths. Will Cleary's life is portrayed as meek and unremarkable since his parents are preoccupied with searching for his missing sister. He changes during the narrative and becomes a hero in his own right. Will's close relationship with his pets is endearing and gives the narrative an extra dose of sentiment. This audiobook has brief chapters, but they're well-narrated and exciting until the end. The plot flows nicely from one chapter to the next. The author has done a remarkable job constructing a plausible and fascinating setting.

I did not dislike anything in the audiobook. This audiobook is a good solution for the lengthy nature of the book. Therefore, light readers likely to be scared of the book's many pages can opt for the audiobook and still enjoy the thrill and excitement. The narrator did a fantastic job pitching his voice to foster twists, turns, and suspense. Non-native English speakers might need help understanding the audiobook. However, they can adjust the reading pace on the Audible platform to keep up.

In conclusion, The Crystalleries of Echoland is an engaging and well-narrated audiobook capable of enveloping its readers in a new universe. Intricate narration, interesting characters, and a compelling plot are all hallmarks of this work. The audiobook's voice is superb and improves the listening experience. I rate the audiobook 5 out of 5 stars because of its exceptional editing, narration, and other positive aspects highlighted above. I recommend this audiobook to light readers who might develop an interest in the book but are scared of its length. This audiobook is also recommended for listeners who enjoy adventure, mythical, and science fiction audiobooks.
