Unwind by Neil Shusterman

Post by Ksiegrist04 »

Unwind by Neil Shusterman is one of my current YA series at the moment. The book "Unwind" takes place in the near future after wars between the Pro lifers and the Pro choicers. This society give parents the choice to unwind their children, meaning they allow their child's organs, brain, skin. eye, basically all of them will be given to someone else. Almost like a person recieving a heart transplant. In this story we following three kids who are to be unwound. This book is a easy read, but can get very creepy at times. I wouldnt recomend this to anyone under 14 or 13 as it contains violence and graphic imagery

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.
