Emi Price, a set designer who is making her way in Hollywood film industry, is in a relationship mess when she meet Ava Wilder. This is a story about self-discovery, relationship and of course the journey of Emi and Ava finding each other and the impact it makes on each other's life.

I was very eager to get started on the book as it features LGBT. But by the time I finished the book, it was more of a disappointing read than a satisfying one. Knowing that there will be no mind-blowing plot from the onset and that is okay, I was expecting to be blown away by in-dept and meaningful story.
I was expecting emotional roller-coaster ride, but instead it felt more like a stroll in the park.
The characters development fall short as well. I did not feel connected to any of the characters.

Having said all that, it is not a bad book by any means. The writing was okay and it was a fast read.

Summary:
Genres: Young adult, romance
Setting: Venice, California (United States)
Plot: Ordinary
Characters: I did not feel for any of the characters. They felt flat and one dimensional.
Writing Style: Mediocre
Emotions: Nothing memorable that leaves an impression.
Overall: I did not struggle through the book but sadly it did not resonate with me. The plot is predictable and the characters are not memorable.
