Disappointed in the ending for Blood of Olympus?

I absolutely love books that have anything to do with Greek Mythology, so this series (and the one before it) were perfect for me. So, as you could imagine, when the final book was finally released I was ecstatic to get my hands on it and find out what the fate of my favourite characters would be. But when I got to the end I was very disappointed. Loose ends had not been tied up! I was really upset that the story just ended with some of my favourite characters, almost forgotten in a way. It just seemed like the ending was very rushed and that the author just wanted to end it. This is just my opinion so please don't hate me for it. Did anyone else feel disappointed with the ending of the series?
