The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

Post by BookSavvy90 »

Now I'm one of those book nerds who thinks Rick Riordan is a god amongst men but I'll try to be as unbiased as I can.

This book was freaking great. It has the quirkiness of the Percy Jackson series, as well as the comedy. I was laughing, and was just sucked into the story. Mythology is a subject that I am a huge sucker for which is why I love Rick Riordan's books so much. Like the Percy Jackson series this one put my Greek and Roman mythology knowledge to work. Not to mention it was nice to see the return of some of the characters from the Percy Jackson series such as AnnaBeth, Thalia, and Chiron.

I want to read the other books in the series but I've heard some things about them and I don't know if I should read them. I specifically heard the last one might be really freaking sad.

So what do you guys think should I read the rest?
