Beautiful Burn is the story of Ellie Edson and romantic entanglement with the last of the Maddox Brothers, Tyler. Ellie is a rich kid with too much money and too much time. She has a lot of issues that end up causing some huge problems. Tyler is a hotshot wildlife firefighter with a bad attitude that falls hard and fast for her.
Jamie McGuire has a writing style that leaves me enthralled from the get go. I can't get enough of this family and their love stories. The struggles Ellie goes through got deep and you really get to know about how valuable having good people in your corner is. There are steamy love scenes as well as scenes that make you laugh. You are definitely rooting for Tyler throughout this book and hoping Ellie can get it together and allow herself to be loved. This is a must read for YA fans and Beautiful series fans.
