Gossip Girl meets Vampires. That's the first thing that came to mind when I first read Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz. Not gonna lie I got so hooked to this series, especially this book, before the story got complicated and all the drama in the later books went down. It was a whole knew spin on vampires as we know them, and it just blew my mind. It had an awesome protagonist (Schuyler Van Alen), antagonist (Mimi freaking Force whom I wanted to kill again and again just because she was so freaking ANNOYING!), and a love triangle like no other (Schuyler, Allegra, & Jack Force). Seriously though the second I read that Schuyler's main squeeze had a thing for her MOM of all people I was like "what the ef?" It was a whole lotta crazy in a small book. I totally recommend it!!!
