Latest Review: "The Saltwater Ghost" by Shiela Jane

Hold Still by Nina LaCour

This book was so short but so beautiful I still can't find the words to describe it exactly. It basically follows the journey of a teenage girl who just lost her best friend to suicide. In the wake of her friend's untimely demise she discovers a journal/diary that her friend had kept. In it she finds there were a lot of things she didn't know about her friend. I loved it simply because it shows that you really don't know who might be affected by your death. You could hurt the people you'd least expect and not even know it. I recommend this book to those who (like me) tried to or know someone who tried to take their own life. It could be the thing that helps kick-start the healing process. 10 out 10 will definitely reread, especially when I need to be reminded of what I have to live for. :techie-studyinggray:
