At certain points in our lives, we wish we had done things differently. We think about how helpful it would have been to have had the knowledge we have now at an earlier stage of our lives. Nnenna Uboma's book contains lessons that she feels would have been very helpful to her younger self. I strongly believe these lessons will be very useful to you. She highlights lessons that are important in almost every sector, including leadership, career choice, public speaking, and so on. Read this book to discover the lessons that lie within.

Lessons to my Younger Self has a lot of positive aspects. The first aspect of the book that I appreciated was its length. I loved how the author managed to fill the book with experience-filled lessons in just a few pages. The way the book is written is unique, as the author writes each lesson in images on the pages. The pictures will also draw a reader's attention to the book. Readers will enjoy dwelling on each lesson while looking at the images, and the length of the book will ensure that they do not get bored.

The book is informative. As stated earlier, Nnenna shares nuggets that will be useful to every individual, starting from the point of choosing a career path to succeeding in the chosen path. In the fast-growing global village, she shares lessons on how to navigate the online world. She talks about leadership especially; every leader will fully benefit from this book. I loved the inclusion of the author's story at the end of the book. It solidified the fact that the lessons she shares come from a place of experience. I see this book as a prevention tool; I believe it will help prevent readers from making mistakes due to a lack of knowledge. Prevention, they say, is better than cure.

Personally, I would have appreciated it if some backstories were added to each lesson. However, this may have defeated the purpose of keeping the book short and easy to read. Hence, I cannot regard it as a negative aspect. There was nothing to dislike about the book. It was professionally edited.

The book receives a rating of five out of five stars. There was no reason to deduct a star from my rating, as the book was captivating, informative, and well-written. I recommend it to young adults and perhaps even teenagers between 16 and 19, as this book will help them properly assess their decisions.

It’s good as a coffee table book, and I liked the way each page had an uplifting message and illustration. I would have like her to have delved deeper into her own experiences and elaborated on the passages a tad. But, still, I enjoyed it.

Because they are succinct and to the point, the pearls of wisdom are easy to digest and don't overwhelm. Even after reading, though, the lesson remains.
