I just finished reading Finnikin of the Rock earlier today and I liked it, it was a good book. The people of Skuldenore were trying to back their home country of Lumatere. I thought it was interesting how after the royal family was slaughtered the princess survived even when the whole kingdom thought it was Prince Balthazar that survived. I also thought it was interesting how once Finnikin and Sir Topher came across the princess, 5 years after the slaughter of the royal family, they could not tit was her. Even though she went by a different name, they couldn't figure out who she truly was.
