Icon Divergent vs The Testing?

Post by nymeriastar »

Hello everyone! I am Rosa and I am new to this page. Anyhow, I would like to see what do the book nerds (and proud) prefer best. The Divergent Series or The Testing series? Both are excellent in my opinion and I would recommend them, but I am a bit curious about what others think.

Okay. I know this is kinda of an unfair reply, but I have only seen the movies of Divergent, which I understand is a fairly good representation of the books. I read The Testing inadvertently and liked it. I found it very similar to The Park Service, which I read around the same time, so for me it wasn't a stand out.

I would say that Divergent is more appealing to me just because the concept is pretty strong and somewhat plausible. The Testing got a little drawn out by the end of series. Now if you are comparing the first books only.. that's a toughy. lol. I probably would still go with Divergent.
