The Loose End List by Carrie Firestone was an incredible journey for me. Firestone takes you on an mental and emotional walk through the unexpected events in life. When Maddie O'Neil finishes her last year of high school, she begins her adventure with her best friends trying to tie up their loose ends, or otherwise known as the things they want to do before college. The last thing Maddie expects is for her summer of fun and sunshine, to end early because of her grandmothers surprise.
A story built around the struggles of family, friends, love, and fear, Carrie Firestone writes a novel that will surely leave and imprint on your heart. She makes you laugh and cry, and cringe at how relatable she makes her novel. I highly recommend this book. You will not regret it.
