However, his life takes a dark turn when he inadvertently stumbles upon a seedy mafia scheme and unveils the harrowing world of human trafficking. Frustratingly, his pleas for help fall on deaf ears with both Irish and American authorities. Undeterred, Michael assembles a team determined to confront this evil head-on.

The book's greatest strength lies in its fast-paced and thrilling storyline. Brinn Colenda expertly keeps the reader engaged from start to finish. For instance, the scene where Michael and his team strategize to thwart the trafficking of young girls is not only intense but also incredibly exhilarating.
