I know it's been quite a while since this was added, but I figure there are people like me still perusing this thread so I'd like to add some books as well.
Blade of Secrets by Tricia Levenseller
Same author as above but Daughter of the Pirate King and Daughter of the Siren Queen
Heartstopper (if you are into graphic novels) by Alice Oseman
Bloom by Kevin Panetta
Evermore by Alyson Noel (this one was a nice nostalgia read for me)
Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust
I am Still Alive by Kate Alice Marshall
The Program by Suzanne Young
My Whole Truth by Mischa Thrace (please look up trigger warnings for this one)
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Jay's Gay Agenda by Jason June (this one made laugh)
For the Wolf by Hannah F. Whitten
House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland (this one hurt my head, but in a good way)
